The odontoma is an odontgenic tumor which is composed of dental hard tissue, that may obstruct eruption of permanent teeth due to disturbance. We experienced treatment of giant complex odontoma which appeared in infant mandibles. A 10-year-old girl was first seen in our hospital with a swelling of her left cheek. In the x-ray radiograph appearance which showed clear border and obstruction of eruption of permanent teeth was found. The diagnosis was a complex odontoma, and the tumor was removed surgically under general anesthesia. The progress of her operation was good, permanent teeth show normal eruption.
