Note on the Photoelectric Effect

Abstract

A wave function which A. Sommerfeld used in his recent paper, , uber die Beugung and Bremsung der Elektronen'' is applied to the photo-electric problem. Certain definite integrals which came into the problem an be easily evaluated without any assumption about the magnitude of the wave length of the incident light.
