There are successfully obtained by electron diffraction the crystalline patterns of native-, acetyl-, benzyl- methyl-, and nitro-cellulose, which are consistent with those by X-rays. A brief account is described in each case. Especially in the case of native-cellulose a discussion is given concerning the alternatives of its crystal structure. The comparison of crystalline rings with amorphous three halos is also reported
