2-dimensional numerical simulations with offing-seashore axis and vertical axis using thelevel setmethod are carried out in order to predict awave-breaking performance of off shore wave breaker withslits. Computational accuracy is investigated in comparison with computational results and small-scaleexperimental results. These comparisons include three types of offshore wave breakers, a single wallwithslits, a double wall with slits and a triple wall with slits and a slanting plate on top of the wall.Although numerical results contain natural damping in wave-height during its propagation, wavetransmission coefficient of computational results through the offshore structure qualitatively agree withthat of experimental results with correction for the natural damping.
