This study aims to develop the traceability system for fishery product in order to enhance the reliability and safety of fishery product. In this system, the QR-code is attached to the products when they are shipped as an information media that is more affordable than IC-tag. And consumers can read this QR-code by cellular phone with camera function, and the information of the products could be easily took out.
In this study, proof examination for utilizing this system was carried out by using cultivated flounder. As a result, the system demonstrated the information about the product and distribution process by cellular phone.
