Abstract
A quantitative grasp on a function and a value of a natural tidal flat are important for the effective planning of the reclamed tidal flat. So we need to establish its target standard figure. Therefore three principal functions of the natural tidal flat have been chosen and each quantitative figure for them was decidedby each value obtained at the adjacent natural tidal flat to the newly planned one. It is realized after some investigation that the accumulation of the data through this method would be able to make the economic planning of the reclaimed tidal flat possible.
In this study, the conjoint analysis as a economic evaluation method of each function of the tidal flat was testified. By means of comparison with the benefit figure obtained by the proposed method and the one by a common method, it is shown that the conjoint analysis would be applicable to the economic analysis for the tidal flat planning. Furthermore, an introduction of the conjoint analysis would make the people's understanding on the function of the tidal flat more easily.
