Because utilization of coastal area has become more various such as fishing, marine sports, experience activity of the nature and so on, it is increasing importance to secure not only safety of user but also convenience for user and accessibility to coastal facilities. Therefore step-type or slope-type revetments have introduced.
It is anticipated that the users should topple down or fall into sea because of slip at the location of inter tidal zone where sessile algae flourishes. In this research the special relation between utilization pattern of user and slip is analyzed based on the field observation of behavior of users and measurement of slipperiness at the coastal facilities with high accessibility.
