Abstract
The Miocene formation developed along the west border of Hukusima basin has been stratigraphically studied by S. IZIRI in 1941-2. Some fosslis from the formation were collected by him. The present writer has examined and described them in this paper, three of which are new to science, i.e., Nucula izirii, Pandora hukusimana, and Volsella izirii. The results of detailed stratigraphic study by Imai will be published in the Bull. Earthq. Res. Inst. Tokyo Imp. Univ., vol.20, no.3, 1942.
