High Strength 3D Fabrications of Metallic Powder by using Laser(5th report)

Abstract

For obtaining precise vertical resolution on rapid prototyping, minute removal processing is effective. Characteristics of removal processing were investigated by using Q switched YAG laser. The width of the groove is about 350μm , and roughness (Ra) of scanned surface varies from 15μm to 30μm. Furthermore, Removal depth depends on the function of scanning pitch and is able to be varied by 50μm order. By using these results a solid which has slope of 45 degree was fabricated.
