Abstract
A laser sprays method, carbon powder being melted and ablated by 266 nm YAG laser in the air, has been developed. In this experiment, the carbon powder of 3 μm in diameter was used and powders were feed by assist gas of N2. The last, we examined the effects of the heating substrate and mixing CO2 with assist gas for the film quality. In this result, carbon film of adhesiveness and flatness did not improve. In this research, the Ni thin film is formed on SUS using Ni powder. Carbon thin film was formed on the Ni thin film on it. Deposited carbon coatings on the substrate were analyzed by peel test.
