Abstract
The shape of three dimensions that is called a texture has been added to the surface of various products and metal molds. The texture is used also in the field of CG. However, it is not skillful at expression of the detail at it. Moreover, CG cannot design and process for various reasons. Then, surface texture CAD system that aimed at the following was developed in this research. The user can easily design the texture, and reproducibility is good. The CAD system that we developed can design the shape of the texture for which you hoped by inputting six parameters. It is very easy. And, it is also possible that the designed texture does the mapping to various solid models.
