Abstract
By the previous report, we had proposed “Contact heat-conduction model” as a method for introducing thermal property of joint into FEM analysis. And in previous report we improved the model in order that the case of contacting different materials to be applicable. So in this report we measure the thermal contact resistance R of joint in the case of contacting different materials and clarify the validity of the proposed model. From the measurement result, It is confirmed that the relationship between R×λm and contact ratio Er* is not dependant on contacting material properties and the temperature distribution of the proposed model agree well with experimental results. Therefore it can be said that we can introduce the measured thermal contact resistance of the joint into FEM analysis.
