Abstract
Mutual recognition of arrangement in metrology was issued in 1999. In this arrangement, National Metrology Institutes are requested to confirm equivalency of their calibration results each other, and accept the results mutually. Technical competence for mutual recognition is confirmed by the result of international comparisons. In this report, protocol for international comparison, evaluation of uncertainty, and international framework for evaluation of equivalence under this arrangement are reported. Especially, evaluation progress in international equivalence of length measurement, which is inevitable for precision positioning, will be reported.
