Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a new method for the micro fabrication by crystal growth. In this study, sodium chloride crystals are selected as the crystallization material. The relationship between the crystal forms and condition of solution are investigated. As a result, five types of crystal are formed. They are columnar, rectangular, pyramidal, unregularly and spherical shapes of crystal. Then the growth rate is investigated as to the rectangular crystal. Because shapes of crystal must be combined obtaining desired fabrication. For example, the combination of columnar and rectangular shapes crystal is carried out. As a result, they can be combined.
