Abstract

In a specimen cutting and a sample making for the materials research, it is necessary to examine the processing method matched to the characteristic of the material, and the purpose of its testing or observation. This report clarified the utility of the tensile specimen cutting of sheet materials with the ultrasonic cutter by comparison with Conventional machining, Electric discharge method and Laser processing.
