Abstract
Characteristics of finishing effect by magnetic abrasive brush, which acts as machining tool in magnetic assisted finishing process, has been studied on machining speed. In the case of using oscillation mainly, stock removal per unit area tends to decrease when maximum speed rises by the increase of oscillation width. Better surface roughness is got in higher speed. Finished surface seems to become rough by increase of cutting depth, because press force increases caused by self cohesion of magnetic particles oriented by cutting resistance, when machining speed is low.
