Simulation of avian influenza infection in a chicken house

Abstract

In this research, we have investigated the effectiveness of the body temperature sensor network for an early warning system of the avian influenza by the simulation in a chicken house. For example, we found that we can detect the influenza before two chickens die if the ratio of the number of sensor to chicken is more than 60%.
