Reconsideration of the analysis model

Abstract

Stitching enables to obtain longer profile by connecting several profiles partly overlapped. We reconsidered its error propagating model for estimating error propagated to the profile more accurately. Here, errors propagated to the stitched profiles were analytically estimated using the new model. They were evaluated by comparing errors in the stitched profiles based on the measurements of our straightness measurement system.
