Abstract
The purpose of this research work is fabricating part reinforced by continuous fibers along the shape of the parts. This paper deals with the producing the continuous fiber. At first iron powder is spread on a steel plate, next it is irradiated by a YAG laser beam along the shape of parts. The powder that is irradiated by a YAG laser beam melts, becomes continuous fibers along the shape of parts. The continuous fiber is used as the reinforcing material for layered parts. The fibers are produced under various conditions, and the condition to produce continuous fibers of desired shape of 0.4mm in width are obtained.
