Abstract
The purpose of this work was to produce spiral shape and stent shape on SUS304 tube by fiber laser beam processing coupled with electrochemical etching. At first, the spiral shape and stent shape were cut out by fiber laser irradiation. Next, the spiral shape and stent shape were etched in electrolytic solution. In these experiments, the optimum experimental condition was decided. The spring property of spiral shape was evaluated by spring constant, and the relationship between electrochemical etching time and spring constants was investigated. As a result of FEM analysis, it was found that the proposed stent had the expansion ratio of fifty percent in radial direction.
