Abstract

In the machine tools to suppress expansion of ball screw shaft by rising temperature, it has been widely adopted forced cooling using hollow ball screw. However, to the hollow shaft of the ball screw requires a special process, had become a problem in terms of cost and lead time. To solve these problems we developed a nut cooling ball screw.
