Abstract
Engineering methods and tools are crucial to attain productivity of the design process of product-service systems (PSS), while supporting designers to create PSS concepts in a systematic manner. This report shows a study to classify PSS concepts with both models in a modeling tool and corresponding numerical simulation results. The report describes limitation of a computational PSS modeling scheme in describing specific PSS concepts and capability of numerical simulation results to complement the limitation, which indicates the usefulness of abstraction of numerical computation results for conceptual PSS design.
