Abstract
This paper describes the influence of Na2SO4 EO water (electrolyzed oxidizing water) on the surface of oxygen-free copper. First, the etching characteristic of Na2SO4 EO water on the surface of oxygen-free copper was made clear by the comparative immersion experiments with NaCl EO water and chemicals. The results show that as for the etching effects on oxygen-free copper, Na2SO4 EO water becomes stronger than chemicals and becomes weak than NaCl EO water. Next, the influence of Na2SO4 EO water on the surface shape of oxygen-free copper was made clear by the observation using SEM and AFM image. The results indicated that Na2SO4 EO water is different from NaCl EO water and did not have a big influence on the surface shape of oxygen-free copper. Lastly, by analyzing the surface, Na2SO4 EO water is different from NaCl EO water and doesn't form alien substances such as chloride on the surface of oxygen-free copper was made clear. Therefore, Na2SO4 EO water is wide in the application scope, compared with NaCl EO water.
