Study on Technology Transfer from Japan to Foreign Countries

2nd report : unexpected technology flow-out and patent protection

Abstract

Technology information is classified into two groups, the one is protected by patent and the other is not protected as know-how. In 1st report, we discussed on the technology flow-out as ″unexpected technology flow-out″. On the other hand, technology that is registered as patent should be protected, but a lot of cases of patent violation is known and they cause technology flow-out and conflicts on intellectual properties. In the report, investigated case study, which are the violation of patented technology information, will be reported.
