Abstract
In our previous study, ignoring the squareness deviations among translational axes, eight geometric deviations about rotational axes have been identified successfully . However, the influence of the squareness deviations under simultaneous three-axis motion was analyzed on the cylindrical coordinate and the orthogonal coordinate, and the squareness deviations among the translational axes were correctly identified by two axis circular interpolation motion and simultaneous three axis motion . In order to verify the effectiveness of the calibration method, the geometric deviations measured were corrected through the NC data for cone-frustum test. From the experimental results, it is confirmed that the radius, center position and roundness of the three dimensional circular trajectories are improved when the geometric deviations are corrected.
