Abstract
The application for a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) based on a three degree of freedom parallel mechanism has been progressing with the aim of the speedup of the conventional CMM. In this paper, we evaluate temperature drift of parallel CMM by the change of the room temperature and propose correction method using the simple model of thermal drift and temperature measurement.
