Multi-layer Transparent Film Thickness Measurement by Interference Color Analysis

Abstract

Previously, we reported a novel areal film thickness measurement method to estimate the transparent thin film thickness distribution from a interference color image captured by a color camera and three-wavelength light source. In this paper we propose an improved algorithm to measure the multi-layer transparent film thickness. The validity of the proposed method is proved by computer simulations.
