Surface analysis of the metal surface with the laser irradiation

Abstract

The detailed elucidation based on a surface-processing phenomenon is necessary to inspect the actual possibility and ability of the processing with the ultrashort pulsed laser. This report is aimed for clarify some partial phenomena through a surface detailed analysis to occur by the irradiation on the surface of metal materials with the femtosecond pulsed laser. The analysis results at the copper surface shows the phenomenon of the reduction reaction after oxidation caused by the influence of the high temperature was became clear.
