Abstract
Harada reported that when one draws a log-aesthetic curve manually with accererating the movement of a pen, by increasing the radius of curvature, s/he can draw it of convergent type. By decreasing it, s/he can draw it of divergent type.In this paper, we clarify the relationships among the speed and accerelation of the pen movement, the radius of curvature and its time derivative to draw convergent and divergent types of the log-aesthetic curve.
