Polynomial B-spline ALP Curves

Abstract

In this talk, we propose a polynomial B-spline Arc-Length Parameterization (ALP) curve, which specifies the curvature plot by explicit B-spline curves. In comparison with a single polynomial Bezier ALP curve with the same degree, a B-spline ALP curve has more degree of freedom and is expected to be applied to G^2 Hermite interpolation. We present a method to generate curves and show examples of generated curves.
