The S-shaped cutting test proposed by China as a cutting performance test of a 5-axis machining center is to be adopted as a informative annex to ISO soon. However, in this test, it is known that not only the performance of the machine but also conditions such as the type of software for making the test piece model affect the result. In this report, the influence of main processor and post processor used in CAM is verified by using commercially available CAM software.
