Abstract

Since body temperature is one of the most important health indicators for cattle, infrared (IR) thermography, which features in contactless and multiple body parts temperature monitoring, has aroused widespread concern. To investigate correlation between thermographic temperature and actual body temperature, a vaginal sensor, as well as a tail sensor, has also been involved in this research. Then, accuracy of thermographic temperature is improved by a correction model build by machine learning.
