Abstract

This study aims to automate the bending operations in the brake press process using industrial robots. The existing system faces challenges such as decreased teaching efficiency and limitations in the parts it can handle, leading to insufficient automation and optimization. This research focuses on improving the system by utilizing industrial robots to enhance efficiency. It reports on the development of CAM software that generates robotic hand positions and motion data based on the dimensions of the workpieces, and automatically creates motion programs.
