Abstract
What I strongly insisted in "Meaning and Being" is that cognitive method of humankind exists in unconscious shifting of focus. It is our fundamental way of perceiving meaning, in other words, making meaning in our life. We are not only sensing everything but also acknowledging and perceiving the objects. I would say, according probably to Michael Polanyi and partly to Maurice Merleau-Ponti, that the concept of qualia is allowed to come in here. And this shift produces mind out of brain, or mind could activate this shifting being based on brain. This understanding is presented mainly by Michael Polanyi as the theory of tacit knowing. I would discuss the possible encountering of tacit knowing with qualia.
