Date of correction: February 24, 2009Reason for correction: -Correction: ABSTRACTDetails: Wrong : The influence of the degree of closure of the IF upon figural after-effect was studied experimentally. It was found that generally there was decrease in after-effect, which paralleled the degree of closure of the IF. But in the middle part of the curve of the decrease of after-effect an abrupt change occured, which seemed to correspond to the change in the characteristics of the seen figure. From the results of these experiments a cue to a more concrete explanation of figural cuurent seems to have been found.
