Abstract
It is ideal to conduct quality engineering type experiments in research laboratory using test pieces. However, there are still many cases where manufacturing processes are used for experimentation to process actual products. This case study reports the success of the experiment on a cutting process using actual products as object. ln the study, the noise factor of this process was discussed. After the optimization, the system was evaluated by the Loss Function in On-Line quality engineering.
