Signal to noise Ratio, S/N ratio, as a measure of functionality needs an enough accurate estimation of both the magnitude of signal and the magnitude of noises, this article discusses the methods to estimate S/N ratio for the following cases
(1)S/N ratio using overall error variance for each level of control factor.
(2)S/N ratio for the case where signal levels include some errors.
(3)S/N ratio for the care where the ideal function between signal and output is not well-known.
