Optimization of NC Machning for Stainless Steel by a Trainee form Brazil Juio Cesar Bento Ribelro who teaches at a technological college in Brazil came to shiga Province Industrial Technology center as a trainee for three months. He was interested in the robust design using quality engineering approach and selected a project of stainless steel processing for study,Most of the manufacturing plants in Brazil are not automated and product quality highly depends on the skilled labor, Therefore, the introduction of quality engineering methods in Brazil has an important significance. Test pieces were used for the processing and dynamic SN ratio was used for quality evaluation, as a result, a gain of 15.8 decibel was confirmed, which is equivalent to a 6.2 fold reduction in standard deviation.
