Abstract
This paper reports a trial case of software debugging experiment using an orthogonal array, the method suggested by Genichi Taguchi. The signal factors that can be input by the user were assigned to an L18 orthogonal array, and their combinations were tested. The beta-version of a software which was developed in our company was used. As a result, the bugs generated from the combinations were efficiently discovered from a small number of tests.
