Abstract
The Panasonic aims to achieve a "manufacture-oriented corporation" status. The "manufacture-oriented corporation" vision is centered in the management philosophy, upon which the wisdom gathered at the operational frontline relies, with focus on development, manufacturing and sales. Starting with this wisdom gathered at the operational frontline, the corporation strives to meet the demand of quality assurance, unparalleled cost competitiveness, reduce lead-time and inventory. For this, competitive products need to be developed under unique and differentiated technologies. That is what the education of the quality technology is very important for. Therefore, this article describes how to develop human resources engaged in the quality of products on the basis of skill evaluation we have been working on, in particular, the quality safety education for quality engineers and the corporate culture as well as making use of scientific methodologies in the product development.
