Abstract
JSQC have published JSQC-std 21-001: Guideline for Process Ensurance by Process in 2015 that is a guideline standard of process ensurance to actualize an important philosophy of “build quality by process.” Process ensurance is a series of activities in order to ensure the quality of product and service by following the determined procedures. This standard is mainly focus on process ensurance in production and service provision. The elements of process ensurance are standardization, investigation of process capability and its improvement, prediction of troubles and its prevention, inspection and confirmation, and actions for abnormalities.
This article introduces JSQC standard: Guideline for Quality Ensurance by Process, including background of publication, details of publication, the points at issue through development, fundamentals of quality ensurance by process, structure of the standard and so forth.
