Abstract
The auto industry has continually developed at a 3% annualized rate and now we anticipate leading the world economy as a key industry.
On the other hand, we must adapt to a huge structural change occurring as automobiles incorporate component commonality, electrification, and computerization on a global scale. For example, core technologies are undergoing rapid change: engine-driven autos are giving way to motor-driven autos, and human-controlled cars are giving way to autonomous machine-controlled cars. In addition, overseas production sites are now expanding, and we are required to adhere to a globally uniform quality standard.
To adapt to these global changes in the management environment, we at HIAMS aim to establish quality management supported by three pillars. First, we will construct an organization that can adapt to a dynamically changing management environment. Second, we will ensure that our system provides high-quality, sophisticated products that meet the needs of our customers and society. Third, we will thoroughly cultivate our workforce and strengthen our organization so that it can respond to the forces of globalization.
