Abstract
The quality of the product is created during the manufacturing moment. The relationship between production management and quality management considers the different viewpoints necessary for product manufacturing.
This paper discusses the characteristics and relationships found between production management and quality management as management techniques. Today, there are many management effects of the new technologies such as IT（Information Technology）, IoT（Internet of Things） Big data, and others over production management and quality management. In this paper, the fundamental theories of production management and quality management are considered as valuable contributions to the development of the manufacturing industry.
