This study examines three recently developed railway lines in the Tokyo, focusing on changes in station ridership and surrounding population after their opening. Using real estate data for housing supply and retail data on large-scale commercial facilities, it analyzes these trends over time and explores how the timing of residential and commercial development has influenced railway use and corridor population.
