Abstract
Lasiodromia coppingeri unidentata IHLE, which was originally recorded by IHLE from Timor Is. (1912, Siboga Expeditie monogr. 396, p. 51), has recently been obtained for the first time in Japan at Mitohama coast, near Misaki. It has a characteristic spine in the middle of the antero-lateral border, and a spinule at the junction of the antero-lateral and postero-lateral borders, so that it may safely be identified to IHLE'S subspecies. According to Dr. T. SAKAI, this subspecies has also been obtained by Mr. K. Suzuki, a member of our Carcinological Society, at Niijima, Izu Isls,
