Four Axiids in the collections of the Rumphius Expedition 1973 and Dr. A. BANNER'S from the Indonesian region are studied. One of these species is unsatisfactorily determined as Axiopsis (Axiopsis) consobrina DE MAN, and the other one is as Axius (Axius) sp.
