Abstract
Nine species of cyclopoid copepods belonging to the family Cyclopidae are discussed and illustrated, based upon the material collected from Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu states of Jndia. The assemblage included Ectocyclops phaleratus (KOCH) 1838, Eucyclops agilis (KOCH) 1838, E. speratus (LILLJEBORG) 1901, Macrocyclops distinctus (RICIIARD) 1887, Mesocyclops hyalinus (REHBERG) 1880, M. leuckarti (CLAUS) 1857, Microcyclops varicans (SARS) 1863, Paracyclops poppei (REHERG) 1880 and Tropocyclops prasinus (FISCHER) 1860.
