Abstract
Qiang ethnic Salar is a traditional form of song and dance performance in Qiang ethnic areas such as Sichuan Province, with a long history and unique artistic charm, constituting an important part of Qiang culture. The inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage depend largely on the pivotal role of inheritors, primarily transmitted through oral tradition or apprenticeship. This paper explores comprehensively, using Wenchuan County as a case study, the overall situation of Qiang ethnic Salar and its inheritors from the perspectives of the inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritage, combined with arts management. It analyzes the challenges faced by inheritors and proposes strategies to enhance the effectiveness of inheritance. This paper aims to leverage the critical role of inheritors to promote the development and inheritance of Qiang ethnic Salar, thereby perpetuating and promoting Qiang culture.
