This study discussed the application of small group rehabilitation that incorporates games into leisure support activities for children with developmental disabilities, and its effect on the after-school service business and changes in participating children. Child A engaged in impulsive behavior and showed a commitment to win/lose modalities. Therefore, the group leader introduced play-based rehabilitation. By introducing group play with active physical exercise, we encouraged the children to have pleasant emotional experiences and positive interpersonal interactions and let them experience the joy of cooperating with other children step by step. Then, through activities that applied analog games, we elicited friendly interpersonal behavior among the participating children. As a result, the way in which Child A participated in activities and engaged in interpersonal relationships have changed. This study indicates that the introduction of analog games and activities involving physical exertion may lead to the promotion of developmental tasks in school age, the enhancement of leisure time for participating children, and the experience of good interpersonal relationships.
