Extracting issues of updating community facilities by school district

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the factors and issues in selecting methods for building a social educational facilities in Sendai City, by investigating the method of building construction. The result of interview survey and literature survey show follows. There are many large-scale repairs, and offices were located in nearby public facilities during construction. Also, the reason why there were few rebuilding on the same land is considered to be that the location closer to other public facilities compared to before. We concluded that city authorities position social educational facilities as regional base facilities without any explicit writing.
